Swiss German is a group of varied German dialects, spoken  from behind the Rostigraben in Switzerland. The dialects are so varied that it is hard for some Swiss Germans not being able to understand another. The winner of the hardest to understand dialect is Walliser German dialect, under consensus from other Swiss and other German speaking countries. Swiss Germans funniest and hardest to pronounce word is “Chuchichäschtli”, (kitchen cupboard, or küchenkasten in standard German), and they often make foreigners try to pronounce for their own pleasure.
A typical difference of Swiss German to other types of German is the guttural “ch”, try pronouncing it properly without spitting and you’re a local.
